Hello Hardeeville Elementary School Family!

My name is Joseph Vitale, and I am so excited to be the Interim Principal at Hardeeville Elementary School. I was born and raised on Long Island, moved to upstate New York, and finally to the great state of South Carolina. I live with my wife, our two sons, daughter, and two dogs. I enjoy exercising, sports, and reading.

I am a graduate of The State University of New York at Cortland, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education, a Master of Science in Education, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational Leadership. Additionally, I earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from The University of the Cumberlands. I also have certifications in School Building Leadership and School District Leadership.

It is an honor and a privilege to be a part of a school that values an environment where the students and staff feel safe and are motivated to learn. I am eager for the opportunity to learn and work where all stakeholders are encouraged to develop leadership, academic, and social-emotional skills that will bring out the best in our students. I believe in working together as a team to help create an environment that inspires all stakeholders to collaborate and share in the school’s vision, mission, and beliefs.

¡Hola, familia de la escuela primaria Hardeeville!

Me llamo Joseph Vitale y estoy muy ilusionado de ser director interino en la escuela primaria Hardeeville. Nací y crecí en Long Island, me mudé al norte del estado de Nueva York y, finalmente, al gran estado de Carolina del Sur. Vivo con mi esposa, nuestros dos hijos, nuestra hija y dos perros. Disfruto haciendo ejercicio, haciendo deporte y leyendo.

Soy graduado de la Universidad Estatal de Nueva York en Cortland, donde obtuve una Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Educación, un Máster en Ciencias de la Educación y un Certificado de Estudios Avanzados en Liderazgo Educativo. Además, obtuve un Doctorado en Educación en Liderazgo Educativo por la Universidad de los Cumberlands. También tengo certificaciones en Liderazgo en Edificios Escolares y Liderazgo de Distritos Escolares.

Es un honor y un privilegio formar parte de una escuela que valora un entorno donde estudiantes y personal se sientan seguros y motivados para aprender. Creo en trabajar juntos como equipo para ayudar a crear un entorno que inspire a todos los interesados a colaborar y compartir la visión, misión y creencias del colegio.
