Hello Hardeeville Elementary School Family!
My name is Joseph Vitale and I am so excited to be the Assistant Principal of Instruction at Hardeeville Elementary School. I was born and raised on Long Island, moved to upstate New York and finally to the great state of South Carolina. I live with my wife, our two sons, daughter and two dogs. I enjoy exercising, sports, and reading.
I am a graduate of The State University of New York at Cortland where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education, Master of Science in Education and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational Leadership. I also received certifications in School Building Leadership and School District Leadership.
It is an honor and a privilege to be a part of a school that has a reputation for championing an environment in which students and staff feel safe and are motivated to learn. I am eager for the opportunity to learn and work where all stakeholders are encouraged to develop leadership, academic, emotional, and social skills that will bring out the best in students. I believe in working together as a team to help create an environment that inspires all stakeholders to collaborate and share in the school’s vision, mission and beliefs.

¡Hola familia de la Escuela Primaria Hardeeville! Mi nombre es Joseph Vitale y estoy muy emocionado de ser el Subdirector de Instrucción en la Escuela Primaria Hardeeville. Nací y crecí en Long Island, me mudé al norte del estado de Nueva York y finalmente al gran estado de Carolina del Sur. Vivo con mi esposa, nuestros dos hijos y dos perros. Me gusta hacer ejercicio, hacer deporte y leer. Me gradué de la Universidad Estatal de Nueva York en Cortland, donde obtuve una Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Educación, una Maestría en Ciencias de la Educación y un Certificado de Estudios Avanzados en Liderazgo Educativo. También recibí Certificaciones en Liderazgo en Construcción Escolar y Liderazgo en Distritos Escolares. Es un honor y un privilegio ser parte de una escuela que tiene la reputación de defender un entorno en el que los estudiantes y el personal se sienten seguros y motivados para aprender. Estoy ansiosa por la oportunidad de aprender y trabajar donde se alienta a todas las partes interesadas a desarrollar habilidades de liderazgo, académicas, emocionales y sociales que sacarán lo mejor de los estudiantes. Creo en trabajar juntos como equipo para ayudar a crear un entorno que inspire a todos los interesados a colaborar y compartir la visión, la misión y las creencias de la escuela. ¡No puedo esperar para conocerlos y trabajar con ustedes durante todo este próximo año escolar!
