Greetings HES Parents, Students and Community Stakeholders from the HES School Counselors!
We are excited to welcome all of our new and returning students to the start of the 2023-2024 school year at Hardeeville Elementary! HES School Counselors are here to support both parents and children. Each child’s academic and social/emotional well-being is our utmost concern.
Mrs. Karen Newsome will serve as the K-2nd grade school counselor.
Ms. Kimberly Gadson will serve as the 3rd - 5th grade school counselor.
HES School Counselors are here to provide instruction and support in helping students to understand and manage:
• Emotions, behavioral responses to stress and anxiety
• Positive goals
• Self-awareness- establish respect for themselves and others
• Communication and listening skills
• Responsible decision making
