Monthly Character Traits

Today, to become productive citizens of the future, children need to do more than learn the three R's. They also need to develop a set of core values to help guide their attitudes and behavior. We at HES do this through our Character Education program.

 

Each month, from September through March, we will focus on a specific character trait from the six pillars of character as shown above plus the important concept of empathy. We teach students how to exemplify each trait and how to think critically, so they can develop all the skills they need to become productive students and adults.

February - Empathy

March - Trustworthiness
