Registration for the 2023-2024 school year will only be available in-person. Therefore, the online registration option will not be available this year. Due to the importance of ensuring that we have the correct physical address and necessary data in our database, it is advantageous for every family to register in person.

Your child will be fully immersed in a 50/50 native English- speaking ELA classroom for half the day and native Spanish-speaking math, science, and social studies for the other half of the day.

THE GOAL IS TO IMPROVE ACADEMICALLY, BEFORE STATE TESTING IN MAY, TO HELP STUDENTS PERFORM AT OR ABOVE GRADE LEVEL, AND AVOID POSSIBLE GRADE-LEVEL RETENTION DUE TO POOR ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE.

WHAT IS TEXT DEPENDENT ANALYSIS (TDA)?

Students will be given a Reading Passage and a Writing Prompt related to the passage. The prompt requires that the students...
a. Closely read the text (comprehension),
b. Analyze the text as guided by the prompt,
c. Write an essay to provide supporting evidence from the text.
