Students in 4th and 5th grade decided on a goal for their outdoor learning space. They researched plants of South Carolina and learned about the relationships between plants and animals. Using the information they gained, they then designed a garden to meet their needs. They measured the space in the courtyard and made a scale model of their design. Students and staff all voted on their favorite proposals. Thanks to the generosity and efforts of our community partner, Newspring Church of Hardeeville, winning designs will come to life in the spring.
