On Friday November 14, 2025, HES had the honor to participate in the first annual "Real Men Read" initiative! Esteemed men of Jasper County visited the school and read to students in their classrooms. These male role models included law enforcement, local officials, and other important members of the community. This initiative is dedicated to cultivating a culture of reading across the district and there will be many more sessions in the near future! Our students were delighted to be read to by these inspiring men.
