Based on the Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence (BRSE) national validated assessment process, Hardeeville Elementary has met the required criteria in the nine (9) performance areas of high-performing schools required for the Points of Light Award.

One of our fourth students, Adali Puentes, was the first-place winner of the SCEA Art Contest 2022!

During this three-week contest, the top students in each grade (3rd – 12th) who use Paper the most to support their academic needs will have the chance to win a $25 gift card and a treat for their homeroom class!!

The Glasscho Hope Wellness School-Based Health Center (SBHC) was established in 1994 to increase access to health care Jasper County School District. School-Based Health services are provided by a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Pediatrician, Registered Dietitian and Licensed Independent Social Worker or Licensed Master’s Social Worker and do not take the place of the family/student’s regular physician, but rather is offered as a convenience to parents while allowing students to remain at school and continue their academic classwork. Confidential, comprehensive service is offered at an affordable cost to all students enrolled in elementary, middle, or high school grades. Parental consent is required for students to participate in the program.

JCSD is hosting a workshop for 4K and Kindergarten families on how to help young children at home with literacy and digital learning. This session will be offered in English and Spanish.

Attention parents and stakeholders, the state standard in science is being updated. As a result, we will be updating our science textbooks. We, as a district, are providing the opportunity for parents and the community to review the new science textbook options.

At its March 7, 2022 called board meeting, the board voted to suspend the masking requirement for the school district; based on advice from our medical advisor.
