Hardeeville Elementary School hosted the Center for Birds of Prey on January 15th. The mission of this organization is to address the environmental issues that impact birds of prey. The center provides medical treatment to these injured and contaminated birds. HES enjoyed an educational lesson about the life and adaptations of hawks, owls and Mississippi kites. The students were impressed to see the birds flying around the gym. The staff and students enjoyed a wonderful day of learning new things at HES.
