Dear Parents/Guardians,
 
First and Second grade classes may explore the HES Theatre ONLINE! course website for assignments, assessments, and ENRICHMENT activities in Theatre Arts.  All activities will be graded and placed in Power School.
 
Students should add the Google Classroom for additional instructions, videos, and resources.  Instructions for adding the Google Classroom may be found in the attachment below.

"My Cinderella" - Create a Setting

First - Second Grade: My Cinderella!

A. Students will recreate the story of Cinderella in their own words, with their own characters. Students may use the traditional Disney fairytale as a guide, or infuse their own creative touches. Each week, students will be given an assignment to build their own play. These assignments will be posted on the HES and Google Classroom, or you may handwrite the assignments and submit them.

Those families without technology can drop assignments to HES or take pictures and text/email them to [email protected] or 919-323-9494.

 

CREATE A SETTING - "My Cinderella" 

Week #1 [May 4th-8th]: Create the setting/s for your play. The definition of a setting is the place and time where the story takes place.

For example: Setting - A castle at night.

For the May Project, students are only required to complete ONE part of the Cinderella exercise.  However, if students choose to complete more than one assignment under the May Project, they will receive an additional 100 POINTS for each extra assignment.
