Principal's Message - Bryan Jefferson

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I look forward to a wonderful school year and to seeing our new and returning students and staff members.  For those of you who have not yet met me, I am a native of Hardeeville and a graduate of the Jasper County School System.  I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina and Concordia University, where I earned my multiple-subject teaching credentials and leadership and administrative credentials.  Now, as principal, I have the distinct pleasure of serving for the most amazing school district and campus! 

At Hardeeville Elementary School, we value our partnerships with parents, families, and community, and we enjoy working with families to help students achieve their full potential.

As a principal and educator, I have high expectations for our students and staff.  In the classroom, on the playground, and in the community, I encourage best effort, a positive attitude, and a sense of personal responsibility among our children.  I want them to be enthusiastic, confident, and inquisitive learners.  To promote student success, I believe in fostering a shared-learning community that prioritizes communication, efficiency, safety, and respect.  Staff, parent/guardian, and student collaboration is very important to me.

I take seriously the trust you place in us by sending your children to our school every day, and we work hard to make students and families feel safe and supported. Our staff is planning engaging and rewarding learning experiences for all students. We believe that each and every student has a gift to share and that we can help nurture that gift.   

We have high expectations of our students, and we have high expectations of ourselves to help all students learn and grow into well-rounded citizens and critical thinkers. Hardeeville Elementary aims to develop leadership skills, social and emotional skills, and academic skills to prepare students for success not only in elementary school but also when they leave elementary school.
