Assistant Principal of Instruction - Mr. Bryan Jefferson

Greetings, Parent, Stakeholders, and Educators!

Mr. Bryan Jefferson is a Hardeeville native and a graduate of Jasper County High. He is ecstatic to be back “home” in the district. Some of the things he looks forward to are working with the community, teachers, and parents to create the life-long learners that our students are destined to become. As a member of the leadership team at Hardeeville Elementary School, he has a vested interest in the growth and success of our students and teachers. For the 2018-2019 school year, he joined the team as the Title I Curriculum Facilitator, and for the 2019-2020 school year will be transitioning into the role of Assistant Principal of Instruction, a well deserved promotion, with a focus on English and Language Arts. In this new role, he will be working closely with the teachers, instructional coaches, parents, administrative staff, and the community to ensure that we are “Student Centered…Future Focused.”

He brings with him a proven track record of success in education with my personal motto, “Students first, students second, and students third” at the forefront. His educational journey started over 20 years ago as a long-term substitute after obtaining a degree in English from the University of South Carolina. He later obtained a Master’s degree from USC and also another Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education. Being the life-long learner that he is, and have a passion for learning, he obtained yet another Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Mr. Jefferson has taught 8th grade, 5th grade, and most recently, 3rd grade at Hilton Head Elementary School and Okatie Elementary in the Beaufort County School District. He is a GT and administrator certified educator and state trained evaluator who believes that, “Less than your best is not good enough!”

He looks forward to a year that is filled with excitement and new experiences and to seeing your smiling faces as you enter the building. We will be looking for volunteers and your continued presence as we enter the 2019-2020 school year. Stop by and say hello!

Your Partner in Education,

Mr. Bryan M. Jefferson
